What Is Sizing Like at Earth Angel?

Earth Angel runs generous, relaxed and forgiving — it’s sold mostly in S/M/L bands (or “one size”), and because the pieces are cut to drape rather than cling, the overwhelming majority of shoppers take their usual size or even drop down one. If you normally wear a UK 12 to 14, the Medium will fit you with room to spare. A few honest pointers from years of fitting this style of clothing:

The cut is deliberately oversized. Wraps, kaftans, tunics and harem-style trousers are designed to skim, not grip.
If you’re between bands, size down for tops and dresses unless you specifically want a draped, cocoon look.
Trousers are usually elasticated or tie-waist, so the waist is very forgiving — the thing to watch is leg length, which can run long.
So much of it is sold pre-loved on Vinted (hundreds of listings at any time), so check the measurements in the listing rather than trusting the S/M/L label alone — older pieces vary.

A styling win (and a fail) worth learning from

A client of mine — a confident size 16 — almost sent back a gorgeous Earth Angel kaftan because she’d sized up to a Large “to be safe” and ended up completely swamped. We swapped it for the Medium and it transformed her: defined at the shoulder, floaty everywhere else. That’s the lesson with this brand — more fabric is not more flattering.

My own fail? Years ago I bought a one-size lagenlook tunic and wore it loose, head to toe, with wide trousers. I looked like I’d been swallowed by a duvet. The fix for relaxed, voluminous pieces is balance: one oversized item, one fitted. A floaty Earth Angel top looks brilliant over skinny jeans, or with a slim trouser and a belt to nip the waist.

What to wear it with

Anchor a billowy tunic or wrap with straight or slim-leg jeans to balance the volume.
Add a structured belt over a kaftan or longline cardigan to create shape.
Lean into the natural-fabric mood with leather sandals, a basket bag and simple gold jewellery.
For cooler months, layer over a fitted roll-neck and finish with ankle boots.

White Stuff — print-led, casual and roomy; great for tunics and easy dresses with that same laid-back feel.
Fat Face — soft jersey and cotton pieces cut for comfort; spot-on for everyday relaxed layering.
Monsoon — the high street’s go-to for boho prints, embroidery and floaty occasion dresses.
Nobody’s Child — sustainable, floaty midi dresses with a slightly more defined bodice if you want shape under the volume.
Joules — cheerful prints and relaxed silhouettes with a country-meets-boho lean.
Mango — well-priced, on-trend flowy dresses and wide trousers when you want the look for less.

Premium

Toast — beautifully made linen and cotton in that quiet, considered, lagenlook-adjacent style; sizing runs relaxed.
Hush — easy, throw-on separates and dresses with a slightly elevated boho edge.
Sézane — French, romantic and effortlessly chic; lovely blouses and floaty dresses, though cut a touch slimmer.

Luxury / designer
