What Is Sizing Like at Mango?

How Mango fits, garment by garment

This is where it pays to slow down. Here's my honest, tried-on read of each category:

Jackets, blazers & coats — size up. This is the big one. Mango outerwear is cut close, especially across the shoulders and chest. If you plan to layer a jumper underneath, go up a size. A size 6–8 will often want the next size in a tailored blazer.
Dresses — roomy, size down for a fitted look. Mango dresses err on the generous side, particularly anything floaty or A-line. If you want it skimming rather than swamping, take your smaller size.
Trousers, especially linen & tailored — loose. The wide-leg and linen styles run relaxed, and many have an elasticated back panel, so you can comfortably size down if you're between two.

Denim — slightly small. Mango jeans come up a touch snug, especially through the waist. If you're between sizes, go up.
Knitwear — true to size, leans relaxed. Reliable. Your normal size will do unless you want a deliberately oversized look.
Shoes — true to size. The most predictable category in the whole shop. Order your usual.
Skirts — true on the waist, short on length. The fit is fine; just be aware hems run a little shorter than you'd expect.
