What Is Sizing Like at Part Two Clothing?

Part Two sizes according to European/Scandinavian standards, which means it generally runs true to size or slightly generous compared to standard UK sizing — so a UK 10 fits comfortably in a European 38, and most women will find they don't need to size up at all. This is very good news, frankly. After years of navigating Italian and Japanese brands that punish you for ordering your usual size, discovering a label that actually fits as expected feels like a small personal triumph. Part Two is one of those rare brands where the size on the label is the size you get.
For those unfamiliar, Part Two is a Danish womenswear brand that's been going since 1991 and has built up a quietly devoted following — particularly in Scandinavia and increasingly across the UK — for its relaxed, everyday pieces done with real thoughtfulness. We're talking beautifully textured knitwear, easy-wearing blouses, fluid trousers, and considered outerwear, all in that understated, earthy Scandi palette that feels simultaneously low-effort and very put-together. It's the kind of brand your most stylish colleague wears and you can never quite place, in the best possible way.
Part Two Size Conversion: EU to UK
Part Two uses standard European numeric sizing. Here's how it maps to UK, US, and approximate body measurements:
Part Two (EU)UK SizeUS SizeBust (cm)Waist (cm)Hip (cm)34UK 6280–8362–6588–9136UK 8484–8766–6992–9538UK 10688–9170–7396–9940UK 12892–9574–77100–10342UK 141096–9978–82104–10744UK 1612100–10483–87108–11246UK 1814105–10988–92113–117
Ella's note: Part Two's fit is intentionally relaxed across most of their ranges — knitwear and blouses in particular are cut with ease built in. If you prefer a closer, more fitted look, consider sizing down one. If you like to wear your layers loose and comfortable (which, honestly, is how the brand is meant to be worn), your standard UK size translated to its EU equivalent is exactly right.
Garment by Garment: The Real Fit Story
Knitwear & Jumpers
This is where Part Two really shines — and where their sizing philosophy makes the most sense. The knitwear is cut with a deliberately relaxed, oversized silhouette. The shoulder seams often drop slightly, the body has room to breathe, and the overall effect is that effortlessly bundled-up Scandinavian look that's deeply appealing once the temperature drops. Your standard EU size will give you that authentic relaxed fit. If you're after something more fitted and close to the body, size down. I've done both and honestly prefer the brand sized as intended — there's something deeply satisfying about a jumper that's properly roomy without being shapeless.
Blouses & Tops
Part Two's blouses tend to be slightly looser in cut than many UK high street equivalents — not dramatically so, but noticeably. Most styles have a relaxed chest and sleeve with a soft, unfussy silhouette. Your true EU size works well here. If you're petite or particularly slim through the shoulders, you might find sizing down gives you a neater fit, but this is genuinely a brand designed to be worn with a bit of room rather than pinned to the body.
Trousers & Skirts
More fitted and size-specific than the tops and knitwear, so pay closer attention here. Their tailored trousers in particular have a structured waistband that runs fairly true to size — go your standard EU equivalent and you should be fine. The wide-leg and relaxed styles have more give and are very forgiving. I'd recommend checking the individual measurements if you're between sizes, as the rise and leg length vary considerably across styles. Many of their trousers have a slightly longer leg length, which again reflects the Scandinavian customer base — petite women may want to factor in a small hem.
Dresses
Part Two do beautiful everyday dresses — wrap styles, shirt dresses, relaxed midi cuts — that follow the same easy-fitting logic as their tops. True to EU size, with a relaxed rather than bodycon fit. The wrap and shirt dress styles are particularly adjustable and therefore very flexible across sizes. One of the easiest bits of the brand to shop, honestly.
Coats & Jackets
The outerwear tends to be generously cut, which is absolutely correct — it's designed to go over chunky knitwear. Your standard EU size works well, and even if you're between sizes, the larger option will serve you better when you're wearing it the way it's intended: over a thick jumper in a Danish winter, or the British equivalent thereof.
My Honest Styling Take on Part Two

Part Two has become one of those brands I recommend constantly to clients who tell me they want to look "effortlessly stylish" without spending a fortune or thinking too hard about what goes with what. The colour palette — lots of dusty sage, terracotta, warm oatmeal, deep teal, and muted burgundy — makes the pieces mix beautifully. Almost everything goes with everything else, which sounds boring but is actually the whole point.
The knitwear is the entry point I always suggest. A Part Two textured jumper — their bouclé and ribbed styles are particularly good — worn with straight-leg jeans and ankle boots is an outfit that requires approximately zero effort and looks genuinely considered. Their blouses work brilliantly layered under knitwear or worn on their own tucked into wide-leg trousers. It's a very wearable, very liveable brand that rewards repeat buying precisely because everything connects.
If I had one styling note, it's this: lean into the relaxed proportions. This isn't a brand for trying to wear fitted and structured — it's a brand for wearing loose-through-the-body with something more tailored on the bottom, or vice versa. Get that balance right and it looks absolutely brilliant.
