What Is Sizing Like at Pretty Green Menswear?

Pretty Green tends to run slightly large and long on its t-shirts and casual tops, so most men are safe sizing down. Polos sit closer to a regular, fitted cut, while the parkas, overshirts and footwear land true to size with a little room built in for layering.
Founded in 2009 by Liam Gallagher, Pretty Green is built on that late-Sixties mod and Nineties Britpop template — paisley linings, twin-tipped polos, fishtail parkas and logo tees.
How Pretty Green fits, piece by piece
Tees and casual tops — size down
This is the one that catches people out. The cotton tees come up generous through the body and noticeably long in the length. I learned that the hard way years back — ordered my usual medium in a logo tee, and it hung on me like a nightshirt. Swapped to a small and it finally sat right. If you're between sizes here, go down.
Polos and shirts — closer to true
The polos are cut more deliberately, with a neater, regular fit through the chest and a shorter body than the tees. Take your normal size. As a rough guide, Pretty Green's chest measurements run:
Small — 37" to 39" chest
Medium — 39" to 41" chest
Large — 41" to 43" chest
XL — 43" to 45" chest
Outerwear and footwear — true to size
Parkas and overshirts are designed with layering room, so your standard size works over a jumper without going up. The desert boots and trainers are slim through the foot but true to size — only drop half a size if you like them snug.
Brands that sit beautifully alongside Pretty Green
If you love the mod-leaning, casual-British thing Pretty Green does, these are the labels I reach for to round out the look. (A quick note: these are my own picks for this piece — worth cross-checking against the house brands list before publishing.)
High street
Fred Perry — the twin-tipped polo is the natural partner to Pretty Green. Consistent, slightly slim fit, and the heritage speaks the same language.
Ben Sherman — for the Oxford button-downs and Harringtons. Reliable regular sizing and a mod backbone that layers effortlessly.
Independent & boutique
Baracuta — home of the original G9 Harrington. A boutique heritage buy that instantly lifts any Pretty Green tee-and-jacket combo.
Gabicci — Italian-British knitwear with a proper mod pedigree. The three-button polos are a smarter alternative when you want to dress the look up.
Designer & luxury
Paul Smith — British tailoring with the same love of colour and print, cut cleaner and sharper. Ideal when you're spending for longevity.
Stone Island — premium casual outerwear that shares Pretty Green's terrace roots but delivers technical fabrics and a more refined fit.
C.P. Company — the goggle jacket and overshirts bring genuine designer craft to the casual wardrobe, sizing generously for that relaxed drape.
My styling tip

Keep the proportions tidy. Because the Pretty Green tees run long, tuck a slim half-tuck at the front, pair with a straight or slightly tapered trouser, and finish with the desert boots. Let one loud paisley piece do the talking and keep everything around it plain — that's how you wear the label without looking like fancy dress.
