What Is Sizing Like at Scalpers Menswear?

Scalpers is a Seville-born label (going since 2007) built on sharp tailoring, crisp shirting and that unmistakable skull emblem. Like most Mediterranean menswear, the blocks are trim and the shoulders are clean, which is exactly what gives the clothes their polish, but it also means a Scalpers medium is not quite the same medium you are used to on the British high street.

How Scalpers sizing actually works

Tops, polos, knitwear and tees use S to XXL. A Scalpers M sits around a UK 38 to 40 chest, roughly one notch neater than a typical high-street medium.
Shirts come both by collar size (EU 38 to 45) and in slim or regular fits. Slim is properly fitted through the body and sleeve; regular gives you genuine breathing room. Read which one you are buying before you commit.
Trousers and chinos run on EU numbers (38 is roughly a UK 30, 40 a UK 31, and up from there) and are cut slim through the thigh and seat.
Denim and casual pieces are more relaxed. This is the one corner of the range where your usual size tends to behave itself.
Blazers and suiting are classic Spanish tailoring: a defined shoulder and a close waist. Broader chaps should almost always take the next size up.

A quick word from experience

I learned this one the hard way. I bought a slim-fit Scalpers shirt in my go-to medium ahead of a wedding, assuming the usual British roominess. Sandro Paris — French contemporary tailoring, slim and modern. If Scalpers' fit already suits you, Sandro will feel like home, and it is equally trim, so no need to size down.
