What is sizing like at The Couture Club menswear?

The Couture Club runs small and it's cut lean. It's a muscle-fit, streetwear-led brand, so for most blokes I'd size up one from your usual — particularly in denim, cargos and anything jersey. If you genuinely like your clothes sitting close to the body, your true size will do the job. Want any breathing room at all? Go up.
How the sizing actually breaks down
Founded in Manchester, Couture Club lives in that athleisure-meets-streetwear lane, and the fits reflect it. Here's roughly where the men's chest and waist measurements land per size:
XS — 34" chest / 28" waist
S — 36" chest / 30" waist
M — 38" chest / 32" waist
L — 40" chest / 34" waist
XL — 42" chest / 36" waist
XXL — 44" chest / 38" waist
The catch is the cut, not the chart. Their Medium sits at a 38" chest, which is already the trimmer end of the high street, and because the tailoring is close and athletic the garment feels a full size snugger than the number suggests. Their sizing is also genuinely variable by category — a hoodie can be spot on while the cargos come up two inches tight on the waist.
My honest fit tips
I learned this one the hard way. Early in my career I ordered a pair of their tapered cargos in my usual 32 for a shoot, assumed "streetwear" meant roomy, and spent the entire day unable to properly sit down. Rookie error, and not a comfortable one. Here's how I treat the brand now:
Denim & cargos: size up, or check your waist against theirs first — the taper below the knee is aggressive.
Hoodies & tees: true to size for a fitted look; up one if you want the current boxier shape.
Knitwear & co-ords: true to size — there's usually a bit of stretch built in.
Outerwear: true to size, but leave room for what you'll layer underneath.
What to buy and what's on trend

Couture Club is at its best with elevated basics and going-out fits. Right now I'd point you at their jersey co-ords, varsity bombers and monogram knits — the co-ord especially is a lazy man's dream for looking pulled-together with zero effort. Keep the palette tonal, let one piece do the talking, and go easy on the accessories. A clean co-ord, fresh trainers, and you're done.
Brands worth knowing (and how they fit)
If Couture Club is your lane, here's where else I'd happily send you — and how their sizing stacks up.
HIGH STREET
River Island — sharp fitted menswear and reliable going-out shirts. The slim fit is close but a touch more forgiving than Couture Club; true to size for most.
ASOS Design — an enormous range of muscle, slim and skinny fits, so you can dial in exactly how tight you want to go. Budget-friendly for experimenting.
INDEPENDENT / BOUTIQUE
11 Degrees — Manchester streetwear, near enough a direct rival. Very similar athletic cut, so if Couture Club fits you, this will too.
Gym King — athleisure and muscle-fit joggers done properly. Sizing runs a shade more generous, so you can usually stick to your true size.
SikSilk — muscle-fit knits and going-out shirts; comes up slim, so size up if you're between.
DESIGNER / LUXURY
Represent — the Manchester label to graduate to. Elevated streetwear, superb fabric, cut slim through the body.
Stone Island — technical outerwear that lasts years. A boxier, true-to-size Italian fit.
AllSaints — premium leather and knitwear with that lean, slightly cropped house cut.
Nail your Couture Club size before you check out
Here's the honest truth: brand size charts are generic, and your body isn't. Because Couture Club fits so differently across cargos, hoodies and outerwear, it's exactly the kind of brand where guesswork ends in returns.
