Sports Bras and Tops With Built-In Support

This is the one area I'd flag. TALA's standalone bras and bralettes are reliable, but if you're a D-cup or above, the tops and vests with built-in support can feel a touch mean across the bust. For those styles specifically — not the leggings — consider going up one size. A sports bra should sit snugger than a regular bra, but you should still be able to slide a finger under the band and lift your arms without it riding up. If it restricts your breathing, it's too small, full stop.

What About Petite and Tall Frames?

TALA offers full-length, 7/8 and Tall options, which is genuinely useful. If you're under about 5'3", the 7/8 length tends to land mid-calf rather than at the ankle, which can look unintentional — the biker shorts and capri styles sidestep that completely. Taller clients tell me the full-length leg is one of the few that actually reaches the ankle without a fight.
