What Is Sizing Like at We11done?

The short answer: We11done runs deliberately oversized. Most of the range is cut a good one to two sizes bigger than a standard fit, so if you want anything close to your everyday silhouette, you'll almost always need to size down. The brand uses a simplified XS–L band rather than UK numbers, and those letters are generous — a "Small" tee can measure close to a 47" chest. So before you panic that you've gained two dress sizes overnight: you haven't. It's the cut, not you.
I'm Ella Blake, Senior Fashion Stylist and Founder of Tellar, and We11done is one of those labels I get asked about constantly — usually by someone who's just unboxed a hoodie that could double as a duvet cover. So let's sort it out properly.
First, who actually is We11done?
Pronounced "well done" (yes, like the steak), We11done is a Seoul-based label founded by Dami Kwon and Jessica Jung, who first made their name with the cult Korean concept store Rare Market. The aesthetic is elevated streetwear with a slightly futuristic, early-2000s wink — exaggerated shoulders, bold graphics, logo-heavy knits and that boxy, drop-shoulder line that's become their signature. Some fashion editors have nicknamed them "the Balenciaga of Korea," which tells you everything about both the silhouette and the price point (most ready-to-wear sits somewhere between £250 and £800).
The key thing to understand: the oversized fit is the design, not an accident. They're not trying to make you look smaller. They're making a statement. Which is brilliant — as long as you size with your eyes open.
How We11done sizing actually works
Here's what to keep in mind when you're shopping the range:
Tops, hoodies and sweats run very oversized. If you like a roomy, intentional streetwear look, take your usual size. If you want anything resembling a regular fit, drop one or even two sizes.
Shirts and outerwear are boxy through the body and shoulder. The drop-shoulder seam sits well below your natural shoulder, so factor that into your layering — they look fantastic over a fitted base.
Knitwear is generous and lengthens with wear. Don't go up "for comfort," you'll regret it after a couple of wears.
Their lettered sizing isn't standardised across every piece. A graphic tee and a structured jacket labelled the same "M" will fit very differently, so always check the actual garment measurements rather than trusting the letter.
Bottoms are more true-to-size than the tops, but still lean relaxed. Size down if you're between.
My honest steer? For everyday wearability, size down on tops and sweats and keep bottoms as standard.
A quick confession (a fashion fail and a win)
Years ago I bought a We11done-style oversized hoodie in my "normal" size for a shoot, convinced bigger meant cosier. Reader, I looked like I was being slowly eaten by it — the shoulder seams hit my elbows and the hem grazed my knees. Lesson learned. The win came later: I restyled a similar piece by sizing down two, half-tucking it into a high-waisted straight-leg jean and adding a sharp boot. Suddenly it read as deliberate, editorial, expensive. That's the whole trick with We11done — let one oversized hero piece do the talking and keep everything else lean.
Where to shop the We11done look (high street)
If you love the elevated-streetwear, boxy-statement energy but not the four-figure receipts, these high street names nail the brief. Pick based on the exact piece you're after:
COS — the closest high street match for that clean, architectural, sculptural oversized cut. Their boxy tees and minimalist sweats are a styling editor's secret weapon.
Uniqlo — unbeatable for boxy, unisex-feel basics. The relaxed sweats and oversized tees give you the silhouette for a fraction of the price.
Urban Outfitters — the go-to for graphic-led, youthful streetwear and the genuinely oversized hoodies that scour the We11done mood board.
Superdry — built on graphic streetwear heritage, brilliant for logo-forward sweats and zip-throughs with that statement front.
ASOS — the widest net for on-trend oversized streetwear, with own-label and edits that constantly riff on the elevated-Korean look.
AllSaints — for the edgier, slightly grungy side of the aesthetic; their relaxed leather and washed cottons have real attitude.
Topshop — back and trend-led, strong for the playful, statement, of-the-moment pieces that capture the fun in We11done.
Premium picks

If you want a step up in fabric and finish without going full designer:
Zadig & Voltaire — rock-luxe French label with the slouchy, lived-in cool and statement graphics that sit right next to We11done in spirit.
Ganni — Copenhagen's playful, print-led brand, perfect if it's the bold colour and quirk you're chasing rather than the streetwear edge.
Sandro — Parisian polish with a streetwear lean; their structured-yet-relaxed pieces translate the look for a slightly grown-up wardrobe.
Luxury & designer
For those buying into the world properly:
The North Face — the technical-meets-fashion crossover that We11done themselves nod to; the obvious luxury-streetwear companion for outerwear.
Totême — if you lean towards the sleeker, futuristic side of We11done, Totême's quiet-luxury minimalism is the elegant counterpoint to all that volume.
By Malene Birger — Scandinavian, sculptural and quietly bold; brilliant for statement silhouettes with a more refined finish.
Two left-field independents worth knowing
Because the best style advice never just sends you to the obvious shops:
House of Sunny — the cult London independent behind sculptural, statement knits and sustainable, of-the-moment pieces. Genuinely creative, and the antidote to wardrobe sameness.
Paloma Wool — an artful Barcelona indie label that treats clothing like a small art project; if you love the experimental, creative streak in We11done, you'll fall hard for this one.
The easiest way to never get caught out again
Brands like We11done are exactly why I built Tellar. When sizing is this inconsistent — oversized here, true-to-size there, lettered everywhere — guessing is a recipe for returns and disappointment.
